Properties
Pure anhydrous phosphoric acid is a white solid that melts at 42.35 °C to form a colorless, viscous liquid.
Melting Point: 42.35 °C (anhydrous) / 29.32 °C (hemihydrate)
Boiling Point: 158 °C (Decomposes).
Solubility: Miscible in all proportions in water.
Applications
Phosphoric acid is used to clean printed circuits and produce various phosphates. Food grade phosphoric acid is used to acidify foods and beverages, and used as a nutrient for yeast.
